He was named the #1 agent in California & #5 worldwide in 2001 (RE Int.), was featured in the book “Billion Dollar Agent” by Steve Kantor and has been the among the top selling agents in Southern California since 2001, averaging 150-200 transactions per year. Matt has trained real estate agents across the country and regularly appears on local network TV news and radio broadcasts as a real estate expert. Anthony Rivera – Vice President A former engineer with a tech company, Anthony manages overall business and transaction flow. Anthony also concentrates on developing and improving processes so that our clients receive top notch service from our firm. He is a specialist in short sale and loan modification negotiation and mortgage products. Anthony is a licensed realtor and is fluent in Spanish. |

Laura Smith – Operations Manager Laura is responsible for overseeing all daily administrative operations in the office as well as the Short Sale Department. Laura is a licensed realtor and former underwriter, and has over four years of experience working for major lenders. |

Melissa Dalo – Short Sale Negotiator Melissa ensures that all properties are immediately listed on our vast array of marketing mediums. Melissa also tracks the volume of property showings and provides feedback to our clients. |

Stefanie works with all clients who are either processing a short sale or loan modification to obtain all bank required documentation. Stefanie negotiates with lenders to expedite both short sale and loan modification approvals. Stefanie earned her degree in Business Administration with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego. |

Sina is a Short Sale and Loan Modification Department team member and has over ten years experience in the escrow field. Sina works with all clients who are either processing a short sale or loan modification to obtain all bank required documentation. Sina negotiates with lenders to expedite both short sale and loan modification approvals. Sina earned her B.A. in Organizational Communication from California State East Bay. |

Bridgette Hemond – Short Sale Negotiator Bridgette joined the Battiata team in March of 2010. Although new to our group, Bridgette is a well seasoned professional in short sale and modification negotiations. Bringing to the table over 5 years of title experience and over 2 years of negotiating experience, Bridgette Hemond is an exciting new addition to one of the strongest teams in San Diego County. |

Emmanuel Reyes – Short Sale Negotiator Emmanuel joined the Battiata Real Estate Group in April of 2010. He completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University where he studied Hotel Finance & Development with a real estate specialization. He is an expert negotiator and has successfully completed transactions with every major bank. Emmanuel has been a licensed Realtor in California since 2008. |

Cristina Rowe – Real Estate Assistant Cristina provides staging advice, takes property photos and provides lockbox installation to all clients who are listing their home. Cristina also creates virtual tours of new listings and assists the Listing Coordinator. Cristina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from San Diego State University. |

Honora Clark – Weekend Customer Service Representative Honora is a native of San Diego and has worked in the Customer-Service/Administrative field for over 10 years. A former Administrator/Customer Lead Representative for one of the Largest Real Estate companies in California, she offers in depth experience in customer service and working with Real Estate professionals. She’s dedicated and passionate about providing excellent service. Honora answers all incoming office phone calls, confirms receipt of all offers, assists in answering questions and inquires from agents/buyers/sellers with properties listed. |

Joe and Tina O’Brien – Licensed Realtors The O’Brien’s have been a husband and wife team in Real Estate for the past decade. Joe graduated from Old Dominion University with a BS in education. After teaching he started a career in the cable TV industry and later founded a successful advertising company. Tina grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. After graduation, she went into the hotel/airline industry for many years. In 1992 she moved to USA, and since then Joe and Tina have been a team. They live in Carmel Valley, and enjoy tennis and other outdoor activities that San Diego has to offer. |
